History of Troop 494
Troop 494 was formed in 1993 as a spin-off from Troop 89 in Olathe. Troop 494 is chartered by the Knights of Columbus Council 1913 at St Paul’s Church. Since 1993 Troop 494 has had over 30 Boy Scouts reach the rank of Eagle Scout. We are very proud of the number of Eagles in our Troop considering nationally only 1 out of 100 Boy Scouts reach the Eagle Scout rank. We have 51 registered Boy Scouts and 44 registered Adults.
